Ergonomic Assessment

A careful look at how your workspace serves the way you actually work.

Each assessment combines on-site measurement, a short interview and a written report you can act on without specialist help. Designed for individuals, family homes and small London teams of up to twelve.

What is included

Six tangible deliverables

Pre-visit brief

A short questionnaire so the on-site time can be spent on details that actually matter to you.

Measured survey

Seat, screen, keyboard, lighting and noise figures recorded in a structured spreadsheet.

Annotated photos

Three to six photographs of the workspace with markers explaining what we saw.

Written report

A six-to-ten page PDF in plain English, with a prioritised action list at the front.

Neutral category guidance

Where new items would help, we describe the category and key specifications — never specific brands.

Follow-up call

A complimentary 20-minute call six weeks later to review changes and adjust as needed.

Formats

Three ways to work together

Home visit

The full assessment carried out at your home address, anywhere inside the M25. Typically 90 minutes on site plus the written report.

Remote review

A guided video session for clients further afield. You handle the measurements with our printable kit; we do the analysis.

Small team

Up to twelve workstations in a single visit, with a combined report and individual one-page summaries for each colleague.

A typical visit

What the on-site hour or so looks like

Arrival and brief

Fifteen minutes spent walking through the space and confirming what you would like to focus on.

Quiet observation

You carry on with whatever you would normally be doing while we observe and take notes from a respectful distance.

Measurement pass

Around twenty minutes with tape, inclinometer and lux meter, photographing as we go.

Short debrief

Initial observations shared before we leave, with the full written report following within five working days.

Frequently asked

A few things people often want to know

Do I need to buy anything before the visit?

No. We work with whatever you already have. Most reports recommend free adjustments first and only suggest purchases where they would make a meaningful difference.

Is this suitable for a shared family workspace?

Yes — we can review a single desk that is used by more than one person, including children doing homework. Each user is considered individually in the report.

Will you tell my employer what we discussed?

Only if you specifically ask us to. Private assessments are private; nothing is shared with a third party without your written permission.

How long does the written report take to arrive?

Within five working days of the visit. Urgent turnaround can usually be arranged for an additional fee — please mention it in your enquiry.
